Thanks for dropping by. I'm Douglas Weiser, pastor of Calvary Lutheran, Bellevue. Please come to meet me and my family in Christ at Calvary Lutheran. We worship every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Jesus the Savior, crucified for our sins and raised again to prove our innocence before God, is the center of all we do here. Join us, for a Sunday or for a lifetime.

Here's what to expect in a worship service. We are liturgical, with our pastor gowned up and leading worship from the altar or the pulpit. Each service has hymns to sing, with ready-made help from a singing congregation. We pray, we read lessons from the Bible, we offer a 20-minute sermon on some text from the Bible, we give God our praise and ask him for his blessings. The sermons feature visual projections, to make the line of thought clear. On the first and third Sundays each month we offer Holy Communion to the members of our congregation, and then close the service with thanks and song. I give clear directions for worship so everyone can follow along.
